Job Description

Position:

Audio Visual Technician Level III

Description:

The primary role of the AV Technician is to perform all tasks given by the AV Lead Technician including, but not limited to, the installation of cabling, displays, speakers, and peripherals for AV systems.\n\rResponsibilities include leading small to medium projects, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, reporting accurately daily to the assigned project manager, analyzing and interpreting system drawings, performing setup and basic configuration on VTC Systems, installing, adjusting, and operating audiovisual equipment (cameras, speakers, displays, projectors, projection screens, microphones), cable management, pulling and terminating cabling connections (CAT6, Crestron DM, Crescent, RS232, speaker wire, mic wire, XLR connectors, phoenix connectors), soldering, using basic tools effectively and safely, knowledge transfer with small customer groups, and completing deliverables upon project completion.

Requirements:

Ability to travel nationwide. High level of customer centricity and teamwork, adaptability to diverse teams, and capability to perform in high volume and fast-paced environments.\n\rExcellent verbal and written communication and exceptional critical thinking skills.\n\rTraining: Dante Level 1, QSC Level 1, Crestron Certified Technician.\n\rMust possess or complete within 6 months: AVIXA CTS, Dante Level II, Crestron Level II, QSC Level II, Biamp Tesira, Extron AV Associate, OSHA 10.\n\rHigh attention to detail, time management, accountability, organization, and problem-solving abilities.\n\rProficient in Microsoft Office.\n\rPhysical ability to work in various positions including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, and driving.\n\rMust wear protective safety equipment when required.\n\r2+ years’ experience in collaboration or Audio-Visual Integration.\n\rHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
