This position is located in our Washington DC office Your future duties and responsibilities Data Collection and Preparation: Gathering data from various sources, cleaning and transforming it for analysis, and ensuring data quality. Data Analysis and Modeling: Applying statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and other analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within the data. Model Development and Deployment: Building and validating predictive models, creating algorithms, and potentially deploying these models into production systems. Communication and Visualization: Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise visualizations, reports, and presentations. Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing business challenges using data-driven insights and solutions. Collaboration: Working with other teams like data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is available, accurate, and relevant. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Experience: Shall possess a minimum 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Education: In addition to experience, shall possess a Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 2 years of related senior experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree. Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly Required: Microsoft Office Suite, and proficient oral and written communication skills Highly Desired: Python, Jupiter Notebooks, R Suite, Tableau Programming: Proficiency in languages like Python and R, and potentially others like SQL. Statistical Analysis: Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. Machine Learning: Knowledge of various algorithms and techniques for building predictive models. Data Visualization: Ability to create informative and compelling visualizations using tools like Tableau or Matplotlib. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve complex business problems. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations. Team Leader: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. May supervise others. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $115,800.00 - $222,960.00.
