Wet Lab Associate (Pharmaceutical)

Location : Novato, CA (On-Site)

Pay Rate : $30.80/hr.

Duration : 1-year W-2 contract role (Strong potential to extend or convert to FTE)

Work Schedule: Schedule/ 6:00am-7:00pm (12 hours). Thurs-Sat alternating Wed

Job Duties :

• Learn and execute biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including mammalian cell culture, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, protein purification, and bulk drug substance formulation.
• Operate large-scale bioprocess equipment for Cell Culture and Purifications operations.
• Prepare buffer and media solutions.
• Gain proficiency with automation systems such as LIMS, MES, and PI.
• Utilize PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, and Western Blot Techniques.
• Support process optimization initiatives.
• Laboratory clean-up/ Supplies restock.

Quality and Compliance :

• Understand and adhere to cGMPs within Commercial Operations.
• Utilize Quality systems for Deviations, CAPAs, Change Requests, Action/Alert Reports, etc.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field with lab requirements; OR
• Associate degree in a science-related field or Biotech certificate with 2+ years of experience in Biotech manufacturing or regulated industry.
• PCR experience preferred.
• Previous undergraduate lab, internship, or research experience a plus.
