We’re looking for skilled, compassionate Speech Language Pathologists to join our team and make a positive impact on children's lives.

*Position Summary*
We’re seeking an enthusiastic *Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)* to support our mission to help children achieve their highest potential. The SLP working in the EI setting will work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders for children in the FIT program. The SLP will support and communicate strategies to the family of the children receiving services to achieve the desired outcomes.

*Work Requirements*
* Evaluate and assess client diagnosis, needs, and proven treatment according to the goals and outcomes recorded on the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
* Meet the EI program documentation requirements.
* Provide face-to-face services and communication with the families.
* Meet the EI program billing deadlines.
* Provide services and strategies to modify behavior to meet the child’s goals in each development interval as recorded in the IFSP.
* Work with parents and other service providers on developing and implementing plans to help build the child’s skills.
* Attend Transdisciplinary Team Consultation Meetings (TTCM) with the other team members providing services to the child.
* Provide quality documentation to the EI billing department according to the FIT program guidelines.
* Assess, diagnosis, and treat the child’s disorder as recorded on the IFSP.
* Develop treatment plans using quality and personalized evidence-based treatment techniques that address the child’s disorder.
* Evaluate the effects of the treatment plan and communicate the progress to the family.
* Conduct evaluations to determine the child’s continued eligibility in the FIT program.
* Participate in the 6-month review of the IFSP goals and outcomes.
* Provide quality documentation of the treatment services on Daily Notes and Delivered Service Logs to the EI billing department according to FIT guidelines.
* Supervise ASL and/or SLP-CF as necessary.
* All other job duties as assigned.

*Qualifications & Skills*
* Education: Graduate degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved and accredited educational program.
* Licensure from the NM Board of Speech, Language Pathology, Audiology, and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board as well as the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
* A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
* Work experience as an SLP working in a pediatric setting.
* Bilingual skills English/Spanish are required
* Ability to work in a changing environment gathering relevant information to integrate a change or modify a program for the family.
* A car in good working order, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance are required to complete visits in the EI program.

*Physical Requirements*

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds (e.g., boxes, equipment) without assistance. Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, including moving around the workspace, performing tasks, and interacting with colleagues or customers. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel to access various items, equipment, or workspaces as required. Aptitude to reach overhead, horizontally, and below waist level to retrieve and handle objects or materials. Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks continuously throughout the workday. Physical ability to move freely and quickly in various work environments, including navigating stairs, ramps, or uneven terrain if necessary. If the job involves driving, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly may be required.
