Job Details:

  • First shift, Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose problems, often by computerized diagnostic equipment, and repair vehicle engine systems
  • Complete emissions inspections, safety checks, and state-regulated examinations to ensure they are working properly
  • Repair or replace brake and steering systems
  • Analyze and fix electrical and electronic systems
  • Perform basic care and maintenance by changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
  • Change and repair transmission and fuel components
  • Repair air conditioners, engine cooling systems, and other cooling components
  • Accurately complete paperwork reporting work performed
  • Clearly explain automotive issues and repairs to clients
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Position Requirements:

  • Previous automotive education and/or experience is required
  • Mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and methods needed to complete tasks
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting knowledge
