About the Role:

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in building and managing scalable infrastructure on Azure or AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes and Databricks environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), optimizing cloud costs with FinOps practices, managing CI/CD pipelines, and overseeing release management processes in enterprise settings. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Design, implement, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps. 
  • Build and maintain infrastructure, such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, to provision and manage Azure resources. 
  • Deploy and maintain scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) applications using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps practices. 
  • Integrate and support Azure Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and machine learning workloads. 
  • Apply FinOps best practices to track, optimize, and reduce Azure cloud spending across projects and teams. 
  • Collaborate with AI, Engineering, and Data teams to drive infrastructure and deployment strategy. 
  • Monitor and log infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other observability tools. 
  • Document solutions and promote knowledge sharing across engineering and DevOps teams. 

Required Skills:  

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud platforms. 
  • Proficient in Go or Python programming. 
  • Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, including Helm, Operators, Karpenter, and custom controllers. 
  • Hands-on experience managing and integrating Databricks within cloud ecosystems. 
  • Deep understanding of FinOps principles, including cost monitoring tools and budgeting strategies. 
  • Proven experience in CI/CD systems and tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD). 
  • Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IaC). 
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). 
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Certifications include Azure/AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). 
  • Familiarity with SRE practices, SLAs, and service health metrics.
